Dr. Phillip W. Lockhart Sr. 5K Walk/Run
The Dr. Phillip W. Lockhart, Sr. Foundation 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Helena, Arkansas, dedicated to promoting community engagement, physical fitness, and educational advancement. The upcoming 3rd Annual race is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at the Cherry Street Pavilion, located at 141 Cherry Street in downtown Helena.
This 5K event serves as a fundraiser for the Dr. Phillip W. Lockhart, Sr. Foundation, which focuses on equipping young adults with essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, resilience, and adaptability. Through education, mentorship, and hands-on learning, the foundation aims to develop confident and capable leaders who can make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to join, with registration fees set at $30 for adults, $20 for teens aged 13–18, and $15 for children 12 and under. All proceeds from the event support the foundation's scholarship fund. Registration/RSVP required. Visit event site for more information.

Twisted Cat has become a leading name in the world of competitive catfishing.
